A practical, hands-on, 100% in-person unique course is for anyone interested in the medicine associated with backpacking, hiking and trekking looking to optimize gear and manage backcountry medical issues.

To provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments including urban disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
Format: 16 Hours (Taught over two 8-hour days, typically Sat/Sun).
Price: $245 (Optional American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED certification available as an add-on).
Certification: 2-Year American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Certification.
